Lydia Shajenko, MD, PhD, is a 1997-graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, CT. His postgraduate training includes her internship conducted at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA (1997-1998), and neurology residency served at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY (1998-2001). Dr. Shajenko further completed a clinical neurophysiology fellowship at NYU Grossman School of Medicine (2001-2002). She attained board certification in neurology and the subspecialty of clinical neurophysiology with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Furthermore, she holds experience in studying the neurotoxic mechanisms of amyloid beta-peptide in Alzheimer’s Disease.
